I did not understand until recently how writing saved my life! I did not know I was releasing energy which is very beneficial to the body and mind. Any form of art/expression will do, I just love to play with words and it seems to come natural to me so I choose this outlet. Now that I recognize it, I can set the intention of releasing energy before I start and it enhances the release. I feel better already! Give it a try and see how you feel.
